Joe at Domestic Autopro is the most honest Mechanic that has ever worked on our vehicles. We've always taken our Chevy Silverado and Chevy Tahoe in to him whenever a service light cowes on. Recently the Tire shop that did a repair on a tire on our Mazda, which experienced a flat, mentioned that we needed both front and back brakes replaced soon. I got an estimate for new brakes from the tire shop and Domestic Autopro, Domestic auto pro was more but I knew that it would be done right. Brought it in to him, he mentioned he could change the oil if needed, at first I said no assuming it would be more than where we normally take it but was surprised to learn that it wasn't so we added that to the work order. Joe called us later to let us know the brakes were fine. He said the front could go for another 10,000 & the back were only 50% worn. Also the plug for oil was put in kinda bad and he didn't want to mess with it and we should probably take it to where we usually go and show them. All in all Joe saved us some money and help us with an oil plug problem that would have gone unnoticed otherwise. I wish his shop was in Livermore but don't mind driving to Pleasanton because I know the work will be done correctly and honestly. We were recommended to him years ago from my brother who owns Swanson Landscaping for the same reason, he won't replace or fix something unless it is necessary.
